Poker Shortcuts: Table1 Tab

Notes: The features on this tab are some of the most useful features in Poker Shortcuts. Initially, I recommend that you try the settings as pictured above.
The settings on this page can be somewhat confusing at first. Please read the instructions carefully.
Highlight the Active Table without Pending Action:
When this feature is enabled, a colored box will be displayed around the active table IF there is not pending action on that table. This feature makes it easy to find what table is active (and where your mouse is) when you have many tables displayed. Pending action means that the table is requiring your action, such as Fold/Call/Bet. I like to set the color to "Lime" for this highlighter.
Colors: The Color of the table highlight can be changed by putting a color in the Color box. The predefined colors are: Silver, Gray, White, Maroon, Red, Purple, Fuchsia, Green, Lime, Olive, Yellow, Navy, blue, Teal and Aqua. In addition you can put in the Red-Green-Blue hex values: for example 0xFF0000 is red, and 0x0000FF is blue. To obtain BLACK: use 0x000000 for the color.
Transparency: This sets the transparency of the highlight display (0-255). For an opaque display, use 255.
Size: This sets the highlight width (in pixels). Numbers in the range of 4-8 work well.

Highlight the Active Table with Pending Action:
When this feature is enabled, a colored box will be displayed around the active table IF there is pending action on that table. This feature makes it easy to find the active table that is needing your attention. I like to set the color to "Red" for this highlighter.
Color: You can specify the color of this display (the color list is given in the previous section).
Automatically Activate Tables (group of 3 options):
Do not Automatically Activate Tables
Select this option if you do want the software automatically activating tables that have pending action. You will then have to activate the tables yourself and rely on what the poker software does for you.
Auto-Activate the Table which the Mouse is Over
With this option checked, any time your mouse is over a Full Tilt or Poker Stars table, that table will be activated. This option can be useful if you like to use your mouse instead of keyboard keys to control action on the poker table (and you choose not to use the next option below).
This option makes the Display option OSD1 more useful as the information will be displayed as soon as you mouse over to a different table that has pending action (and you don't have to click on the table to activate it). See the notes in the Displays section for related information.
Holding down either Shift key will temporarily disable this feature (of activating the table your mouse is over). This allows you to move mouse around (over tables) without activating any tables.
Auto-Activate the next Table with Pending Action
This is a very handy feature when you have multiple tables open. The software will automatically activate tables that have pending action on them (and move the mouse to that table, if enabled below). When this feature is working for you, it can really make playing poker a lot easier.
This feature works with tiled tables, stacked tables, and cascaded tables (and when both Full Tilt and Poker Stars tables are open). It is recommended that if you stack (or cascade) your tables, keep your Full Tilt and Poker Stars tables in two different stacks (or cascades).
Here are the guidelines to help insure that this feature will work correctly:
- Be sure that you have configured the software correctly as outlined on the configuration page. In particular be sure that these items are configured:
- On the Full Tilt Poker Lobby...menu Options... verify that "Display Table on Action" is UNCHECKED
- On the Poker Stars Lobby...menu Options... click on the "Advanced Multi-Table Options" dialog box... verify that "Popup table whenever user action is required" is CHECKED.
- If you stack or cascade your tables, put your Poker Stars tables in one stack (or cascade) and your Full Tilt tables in another stack (or cascade). This is because Poker Stars will pop pending tables to the top of the stack when there is pending action on a Poker Stars table, and it might overlap a Full Tilt table that has pending action on it. Keep the tables in separate stacks (or cascades). If you play with tiled tables, then it does not matter how your tables are arranged.
- I recommend that you enable the feature discussed below called "Additionally, move mouse to it's home position". This will always put the mouse in a known position when a table activates, and you don't have to scan around to look for it.
When this option is enabled, all of the tables with pending action are stored in a queue, and when you finish acting on one table the next table requiring action is activated and your mouse is moved to that table (if enabled with an "Move Mouse" option below).
Holding down either Shift key will temporarily disable this feature (of jumping your mouse to the next table with pending action). This allows you to easily move tables or to click on another table, without the software forcing your mouse to jump to the table with next pending action.
Additionally, temporarily move this table to this position:
Check this option if you want the software to activate a table with pending action (e.g. the Fold button is visible) AND move this table to a particular position on your monitor(s). This is handy if you play a lot of tables, and you just want to look at one spot on your monitors. Active tables will automatically be moved to this position on your monitor. After you have acted on this table it will jump back to it's previous position when pending action occurs on another table.
X is the X position that you want this active table moved to on your monitors.
Y is the Y position that the table will be moved to.
W is the Table Width that the table will be resized to when it is moved.
Note: Monitor position 0,0 is in the top left hand corner of your main monitor. If you have another monitor to the left, the X value will be negative. If you have another monitor above your main monitor, the Y value will be negative. This positions are in pixels.
Additionally, move mouse to it's home position (Recommended)
With this option checked, the mouse will move to it's home position (x,y position is set on the setup tab) whenever a table activates automatically. This is a recommended feature so that your mouse will always be moved to a known position on the table. I like to have the mouse be moved to right over the Fold button (cause I fold most of the time). You might want to have it positioned next to one of these main buttons, so that you don't accidentally click the mouse when it is on top of one of these buttons. You can experiment with what you like for your game.
Additionally, Auto-Activate the Table the Mouse is Over (Recommended)
With this option checked, any time your mouse is over a Full Tilt or Poker Stars table, that table will be activated. This option can be useful if you like to use your mouse to move around to other tables even though the auto activate feature is also enabled. If you like, you can hold down the shift key while moving the mouse to the table you want to activate, so that you don't activate other tables "on the way" to the table you intend to activate.
Holding down either Shift key (or any of the keys defined on the Misc tab) will temporarily disable this feature (of activating the table your mouse is over). This allows you to move mouse around (over tables) without activating any tables.
Keycode to move/return active table to this position:
This is a very useful feature if you play with stacked or cascaded tables. Sometimes you might like to watch the action on a particular table (like when you move all in), and not be concerned about the table being covered up by other tables as action moves to the other tables. You can define a key/mouse code to move the active table, and the currently active table will move to another place on your display that you choose. You can define two independent positions to temporarily place two tables so you can watch what is happening on those tables. After you are done watching, press the key again, and the moved table will return to it's original place in the stack.
X is the X position that you want this active table temporarily moved to on your monitors.
Y is the Y position that the table will be moved to.
W is the Table Width that the table will be resized to when it is moved.
