Poker Shortcuts: Reg Tab

reg tab

This tab contains settings that are very important for the successful use of this software. Please read this information carefully.

Current Settings Bank:

You can have 9 complete banks of settings in Poker Shortcuts. This allows you to switch to a different bank of settings very quickly. This is useful if you want different settings for different situations. Perhaps you want different settings when you play on 6 man tables versus 9 man tables. Or you may want different settings when you play using a mouse versus using a keyboard. You may find many different situations where you want to have a separate set of settings.

To change to a new bank of settings, select the desired bank in the drop down box.

Bank Description:

In this box, you can give your own description for the current bank of settings to help you identify the purpose of these settings.

Copy Current Settings to Bank #:

You can copy the current settings to another bank of settings by first setting the number of the bank you want to save to, and then clicking on the button. This allows you to take a group of settings that you like and save them to another bank location.

Mouse Home (XY)

This defines the X and Y coordinates for where the mouse will be positioned on the table if the mouse is automatically moved to a table. Set this coordinate on a large table (800 pixels wide), and the position will be scaled appropriately for smaller and larger tables.

X and Y refer to pixel positions on the poker table. The position 0,0 is located at the top left of the table, in the upper left hand corner of the table, just below the title bar of the window.

You may want to have the mouse move directly to the position of the fold button (545,505). Since your most likely action is to fold, your mouse will be in position to perform this action.

You can set the position differently for Full Tilt and Poker Stars. Just make small changes to the numbers, and in a few tries you will have the mouse going to the position that you desire. You can use the "Activate Next Table -> Bottom/Right" hotkey (defined on the Actions 3 tab) to test where the mouse is being moved to.

Poker Shortcuts need to know the location of several folders on your computer. Shortcuts will try to determine the location of the folder. You need to verify that the location is correct, and change it if the location is not correct.

Modify Poker Stars User.ini file

If you play on Poker Stars, and you want to have Poker Shortcuts to be able move and resize tables, then the following line of code needs to be put in the Poker Stars user.ini file (in the Options section of this file):

To have Poker Shortcuts automatically make this change to the user.ini file for you, follow these steps:

  1. Exit Poker Stars.
  2. Be sure that you have correctly entered the "Poker Stars Setting Folder" location (as set above).
  3. On the Setup tab in Poker Shortcuts, click on the button labeled "Modify Poker Stars user.ini file".
